Lilian is from Brazil and is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Justin loves speaking portugese with her. Matt is from California. Michael and Wesley love them so much. They are really great people. Thanks for being such great friends, guys! We love you!

School's out! (for now) and one tooth gone?

Jenny's been nagging me to make another entry. I guess it's been a little while. Yes, the spring semester is finally over! I'm so happy. I had my last final yesterday and it was the class I'm most worried about--Accounting. He already posted our grades though and I passed!!!!! I'm so happy about that. I won't mention my grade though, but I passed is all that's important. I don't know about my other classes yet but I'm not as worried about my grades in them.

In other news, you may have heard already, my dentist thought it would be best to get rid of my wisdom teeth--since two of them have cavities and I didn't get rid of them when I was younger because they never really posed a problem. Well now they do dangit. It's cheaper to just yank em' rather than filling them with silver or that white stuff. Go figure. Problem is--I went in for extraction and the dentist took 25 minutes to pull my upper right Wisdom tooth. Despite my nervousness and the cracking sounds I heard because I was just numbed, it wasn't too bad. I didn't even feel much pain even after everything (mmm Lortab), but he didn't want to proceed with the other 3 because of the extra bone that came out with the tooth (I know--gross). He was concerned about it and said I may need to go to an oral surgeon for the rest. Well they cost a lot and I just want him to do it. He might have the other dentist do the other 3 later after they see how this one healed up. We'll just have to see. We're poor now and dental insurance doesn't cover a whole lot.

Anyway, enought about that--some of you might be grossed out--at least I didn't mention all the blood that was gushing out. Whoops...haha. Okay so school's out, I have 1 Wisdom tooth out--wow, what else? Oh yeah! This weather SUCKS BAD!!!!!!!!! I'm sick of mother nature playing jokes on us. Just get warm already for crying out loud! It's like it really wants to but isn't able to summon enough willpower to do it. Annoying. As Jenny said already--it's keeping us from getting better, we all just keep passing around this "gripe" as they call it in Brazil (head cloggage, sinus issues, coughing, mucusy, yada yada yada and the whole bit). Okay sorry, I'm trying to have a good attitude but I'm just ready for warm weather so we can play outside with the kids already and start up the garden and just get better. I mean, snow on April 24th!? What a joke!

Things are pretty good for us overall. Work's been annoying for me lately because of all these changes that are happening but it could be worse. I could have no job. I am thankful for everything that we do have and especially for my two cute little boys. Okay this is too long now. See ya. Stay tuned for future updates on the Furr family!

Cold Days & Stargirl

Hello all and I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. It seems like either Michael, Wesley, or Justin has been sick all month! What a bummer! And the terrible dreary weather tops it all off. I couldn't take it anymore. Justin lasted two days, and I lasted two weeks with that whole no TV month thing. It was great while it lasted though, and I did learn a lot. I need to learn to just keep all things in moderation. I have also started reading again. It is wonderful. I have missed it. I forgot how much fun it can be. I used to be a huge reader growing up. I have re-read some of my favorite Jack Weyland books. If you haven't read them they are so good! I like "A New Dawn", "Nicole", and "Last of the Big Time Spenders". They are all awesome. I also recently read "Stargirl." It's kind of a teen book but it is still so much fun. My mom actually recommened it to me and said I was like Stargirl. I am so proud of that comment. If you read it tell me what you think. Some other new things in our life are Justin is almost done with finals. He has only one more tonight. I can't wait! Execpt he is taking a summer class so he won't really be having a break but I'm still glad the semester is over. I decided to grow my bangs out. Wesley is growing so fast, crawling all around and getting into everything. Michael can almost say his abc's and count to 10, which is very exciting for the first time. Well, that's us at the moment. Here's to hoping the month of May brings good health and fun in the sun. :)

Mini Vacation

This past weekend my wonderful mother took me, Wesley, and Michael to St. George to visit my sister and her family. It was so much fun! We swam, got tans, ate like kings, and listened to conference. The boys loved playing with their cousins. The only problem was the day we got home it snowed. Talk about a climate change. We went from 75-80 degrees to 35-45 degrees. It has been so cold the last few days. Come on, mother nature, I think we are all ready for some serious sunshine!

No T.V. Month

For the entire month of April, me and Justin have decided refrain from watching tevevision. This includes t.v, movies, online t.v., and all video games. We have both felt lately that those things take up far too much of our valuable time. It has only been one day and it's already hard, but I have gotten a lot done. I am currently working on cleaning and reorganizing the entire kitchen. I know that this will help bring the spirit into our lives and into our home. I think of the quote from some woman in conference a short while ago that goes, " We can no longer spend our time doing anything that will not bring us closer the the Lord." Or something like that. I know that by doing this our family will grow closer and gain strength and power to combat the evil from the worldly things around us. I am thankful that the weather is getting nicer in the next few weeks so we can spend more time outdoors.
I also wanted to mention how excited I am for conference this weekend. I can't wait to be spiritually uplifted. What a blessing it is to have modern revelation on the earth today.
