My Growing Girl

Francy is already four weeks old! It's amazing how fast they change and grow. Here are some photos highlighting some of her best moments of life so far:

She is starting to smile a little and she is going cross-eyed less, which is excellent because every time she does it it freaks me out a little since the boys didn't really do that at all. She is a good eater and a terrible sleeper, which I guess is expected at this age. She'll grow out of it. I am looking forward to watching her reach many more milestones. It's fun and I am proud of her but at the same time she will never be a newborn again and that's kind of sad to think about.
On another note, Justin is blessing her this sunday and all family and friends are invited, just call either Justin or me for more details if you would like to come. I am even making rainbow jello. I hope it turns out considering the weather report shows rain in the forecast. ( The jello and the blessing luncheon) :)

These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise...

The new Star Trek movie finally come out, and since me and Justin are Trekkies, we went to see the sneak peek the night before opening day. It was amazing! I loved it. It was even better than I expected. It was a perfect balance of adventure, action, romance, and drama, just like everything else in the Star Trek world. I can't wait to see it again. We definitly want to check it out in IMax. They are even making two sequels to it in the next few years. If you haven't seen it, go check it out.

Here we are in line to see the show. Yes, we brought Francesca at six days old. She did amazing. Hardly made a peep. And the crazy thing about it is after the show we spotted another tiny baby and I asked the parents how old he was and he was exactly six days old. too! Crazy awesome! Notice my tattoo above my forehead. It's a Chakotay tattoo, in honor of one of my favorite Star Trek characters.

This is Chakotay:

Here is Justin and Francesca and Justin's dad, Doug. The entire time we were waiting in line they discussed which Star Trek episodes and movies were their favorite and why. We went with our friends Grant, Kathy, and Emily. Fun fun fun!

Since I talked about Chakotay, I just have to mention some of my other favorite characters in the Star Trek universe.

This is Deanna Troi. She was in TNG. She is a Betazoid, meaning she can read minds. It's awesome. And this is Charles "Tripp" Tucker from Enterprise. I love his western accent and human-like and honest characteristics. He reminds me a lot of Justin. No wonder I like him. lol Well, Star Trek is the best and will be the best, so go watch it. Live long and prosper. :)

Picnic at Vivian

We had a picnic up at Vivian Park last saturday. The boys loved watching Justin throw rocks into the water. The canyon is really beautiful right now. I recommend taking a drive up there. Fresh air and sunshine have been some of my favorite, most healing things since I had the baby. Yay for warmer weather!

Vote for Kris

Sorry Adam Lambert fans, but Kris has the chops.
P.S We finally got T.V! It's just the 10-15 channels you get by hooking up a digital t.v. converter box to an antenna but that means I can watch the A.I. finale live instead of getting it off iso h. the next day. Yay!

Dear Wesley

To my sweet darling Wesley,This letter is to let you know we love you and always will. I know being the middle child has been kind of hard, especially since your sister was born. Thanks for being the sweet and cuddly little guy we love.
You are a wonderful brother. Thanks for being so gentle with Francy. I know you two will be close.
Thanks for always folding your arms when we pray, and for the times we forget to pray, reminding us by folding those sweet little adorable arms.

I know life can be tough, and you're just curious about the world, thanks for learning boundaries.

Thanks for being my little cuddlebug. And for still being my baby. Even though you have a younger sister, and will probably get more younger siblings, you will always be my baby.

I want to close by saying our family wouldn't be complete without you. Thanks for being you! :)
