For the entire month of April, me and Justin have decided refrain from watching tevevision. This includes t.v, movies, online t.v., and all video games. We have both felt lately that those things take up far too much of our valuable time. It has only been one day and it's already hard, but I have gotten a lot done. I am currently working on cleaning and reorganizing the entire kitchen. I know that this will help bring the spirit into our lives and into our home. I think of the quote from some woman in conference a short while ago that goes, " We can no longer spend our time doing anything that will not bring us closer the the Lord." Or something like that. I know that by doing this our family will grow closer and gain strength and power to combat the evil from the worldly things around us. I am thankful that the weather is getting nicer in the next few weeks so we can spend more time outdoors.
I also wanted to mention how excited I am for conference this weekend. I can't wait to be spiritually uplifted. What a blessing it is to have modern revelation on the earth today.

You are good people. Richard and I don't have TV and we love it. whenever we go to somebody's house where they're watching TV it just sucks us in and we can sit there for hours and have no idea the time has even passed us. It makes us so grateful we never found the time to set one up in our house, and now we have decided to never do so. Good luck to you guys.
I could never survive a day with out tv. Lol You are amazing for doing that for a month. I can't believe how many people are having blogs now a days. I miss little michael in nursery!!! I want him back!!! I'm going to add you to my page! Do you go to play group for the 14th ward on thursdays?
So, the question is... Is this an April fools joke??! It sounds so noble and serious, and yet it was posted on April fools. Ha! JK I know its not a joke. Way to go. I am sure you will notice a gigantic change in your lives. Rhett and I dont have TV, and we love it. ( we do however, watch every Jazz game...) Miss You!!
