More Stuff

Jenny wants me to post another blog message. I guess I don't do enough of them ;) Well, not a whole lot of new stuff going on. The boys are growing up so fast. Wesley's got his two teeth and trying to inch around on the ground a whole lot. He can actually get around pretty fast by being a little squirmy worm. Michael is loving cars still and loves the movie Cars. He plays outside a lot with mom since it's starting to get warmer.

Speaking of warm and springtime-ness, I cannot wait! I'm planning on hiking Timp again for sure! Maybe 2 or 3 times. Last year I did it 3 times. It was insane, but fun. Summer is the best. I love the warmth, and growing tomatoes in the back and doing things outside. Oh also, we just barely bought our tickets to the Cure concert on May 23rd in the Ecenter!!!! We're so stoked for it! So that'll be a fun way to kick off the summer.

I'm still just working at Directpointe in the NOC (Network Operations Center). I learn new stuff about networking every day and am feeling more confortable with my job every day and love what I do. I'm still in the Information Systems degree at UVU and it's looking like I should be graduating Fall 2009. I'm sooooooo stoked about that. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Jenny's doing great too. She's the best thing that's ever happened to me! I'm more in love with her every day. She's a great mother and wife, sister and friend. Once I'm done with school--Jenny is probably going to go to beauty school. She's excited about that. She'll be such a pro since she's already so "beauty"ful. Haha, sorry if the last paragraph is too gushy for you guys reading this. I'm done. See ya!

TTA-Collections

It's Tuesday Tell All again, and the topic is collections. This will be fun. I have always loved collecting things.

As an adolescent I collected skittles wrappers and hung them up on my wall, I guess it was because they were so colourful. ha!

I also collect keys although I don't really see a point in it now. I have almost 100.

I have been a My Little Pony collector for the last five years. I love it, I guess because they are fun and bright and colourful and I'm sure my future daughters will love to play with them.

My favorite collection is probably my souvenier spoon collection. I am just starting out so I don't have very many but I hope that it will grow and grow. I got the idea from my grandmother. She has an excellent spoon collection that I have always loved.
I also collect colourful scarves, nail polish, vintage cameras, and headbands. I love any collection that is colourful actually.

I would like to start a collection of Hot Wheels cars for my boys. Michael already has between 15 and 20, most of which he received at his birthday party on saturday.

Me and Justin have a foreign coin collection. When we got married and diecoved that we were both collecting them, we just put them together. Most of my coins came from my older brother, Mark who has traveled to more foreign countries than anyone else in my family. Thanks Mark! Hey, they may come in handy for a great decorating piece later.

I hope you enjoy learning a little more about me though my collections.

Love, Jennifer Trend

TTA- What's in a Name?

I have decided to join the dozens of ladies for something called the Tuesday Tell All. Some ladies, Sally and Marcie, ask a question or pose a subject every tuesday, and I will tell all. If you are interested, go to tuesdaytellall.blogspot.com. My first subject is "What's in a Name?"

Michelangelo Henrie

Me and Justin went to the hospital with a few names in mind: Jackson, Skyler, Bradley, Michael, and Michelangelo. Once I had him I knew he was a Michelangelo. He had dark thick curly hair and he looked Italian. I am 1/32 Italian you know. Justin would just not budge. So we named him Michael. Boring. But we changed it a few weeks later. Yay! We call him Michael most of the time anyway. We like the name because it is religious, it means "he who is like God", it's Italian and Hebrew, and it's solid. We don't want him to take the common nickname of Mike. I was hoping his nickname would be Mika or Mikah. We have called him Bubba, Mikey, and Bubba-Angelo. Henrie is a family name on Justin's side. It is Justin's middle name and he was named after great aunt Henrie. I liked it because it fit well and I want to name all of our children middle names after kings and queens of the past.

Wesley Richard

We decided on this name once we found out I was having another boy. We both love it and agree on it, and so that's what we decided before asking anyone if they liked it or not. We call him "Wessy". Although I would like people to call him "Richie" though. Wesley also happens to be a family name on my mother's side and my uncle's middle name. Richard is named after Justin's late brother who died when Justin was only 13 years old. Also after my father, my uncle, and the great King Richard of the past.

Some Recent Pictures

Just wanted to show you all the new bike trailer. It works out great and the boys are loving it. Michael also got a trike for Christmas which he can now try out since it's warming up. I'll try and attach some more pictures as well. We're still doing great. Loving our new married student ward, and getting excited for spring finally and for the spring semester to end.

New Bike Trailer

Jenny ordered a new bike trailer online that fits both Michael and Wesley. We got it yesterday and assembled it and rode our bikes around the neighborhood. It was really fun. The kids loved it. It was pretty cold but it'll be a lot of fun in the summertime.

As Jenny mentioned, we've been keeping busy with many things. My goal is to graduate after the Fall 2009 semester if all goes well. That's if I don't fail any classes and can take both my math classes in the summer. I can see a light at the end of the tunnel finally! Things are going really well for us. We love having our little family so much--they're a lot of work but we can't wait to have even more! I know it sounds crazy but we want a bunch! Maybe a little girl next. Well, it's past midnight and we're being night owls. We gotta hit the sack. See ya.

Elephant Ride

One of my goals in life is to ride an elephant. This trip would be the trip of my dreams. http://www.elephantride.com/wtg_si.htm I have decided if I could go anywhere I would go to South India. Michelangelo calls it an "Efelant".
