New van and other news

Over the last weekend we sold our Civic and bought a van. We both felt really good about it and love our new Honda Odyssey. There is so much more room now.

This is us just seconds before we sold it to our buyers from Logan:

Here's the new Honda Odyssey. I love Hondas and trust them more than any other car. Jenny and I both spotted it when we first pulled into the car lot and immediately liked it. It's not very often we agree on cars. So we test drove it, checked everything out and liked it even more.

Here's the interior. It has leather seating and even came with an already mounted after-market DVD player!

It's so much roomier than our Civic Sedan we had (not to say I didn't like the Civic, it was a Honda too and probably would've lasted another 20 years!) But look at this. We can now walk back there to attend to a screaming child. Love it!

And just yesterday, we gave the boys haircuts. Wesley's hair was especially long; I don't think we've ever let it grow this long before. It's really short now.

Here's a picture of Wesley after his haricut. CUUUUUTE!!! They look like Jr. Marines ready to enlist or something.

Jenny's good friend from Logan, Kara, just got back from her mission in Ireland. So they visited for a while today and had some girly fun.

Who is Your Fave?

Just in case you didn't know already, I LOVE American Idol! My favorites this season are Kris Allen and Allison Iraheta. I believe they have the most raw talent and are naturals on the stage. I think it's time for Lil, Michael, and Adam to go home. Who are you rooting for???

Update on Michelangelo

10 days of the runs and we finally got a call from Michelangelo's doctor. He has Clostridium difficile, a bacteria that causes diarrhea. Poor little guy. The good news is after a long treatment of antibiotics, he should be healed. hopefully.

In other news here is my latest belly shot. I can't believe I only have a little over six weeks until I get to hold my daughter in my arms.
Also, Michael turned three! Here are some pics of his party and playing with his toys afterward:

He got some roller skates, the kind that velcro over your shoes that he loves. Justin and him had some fun in our driveway.

Here is a shot of the Monster Truck cake I made him: I can't believe he's three already! Time flies when you're having fun. :)

Star Trek 11 and U2!!!!

Dude! I can't believe the 11th Star Trek movie is almost out! Jenny and I are so excited about it. If you still haven't seen the trailer(s), you'll have to go check them out. The best place to go for movie trailers is apple.com; click here for the trailers:

Only 2 trailers have been out until now. I think they just came out with a brand new one yesterday! You have to check out trailer 3! The special effects are lookin' awesome! Looks like the Lost people (Bad Robot) are doing a nice job with it. It's supposed to have a whole different feel to it which might be good for gathering new types of Star Trek fans. I think a lot of people don't understand Star Trek. It's highly misunderstood as being something for only nerds. Wrong! Go see it.

Oh, and U2's new album is pure gold!! It's called No Line on the Horizon. "Magnificent" and "Moment of Surrender" are my favorite songs on it! Gotta check it out if you haven't.

They're touring this year but I think the closest they'll come is Vegas. Maybe I'll have to make a trip out of it. On U2.com it shows how their show is going to be...it's called the 360 Tour because the band will be right in the middle of the stadium and everyone will have a good view. Check it out--looks amazing. I read somewhere that it's supposed to be the highest grossing concert ever.  Anyway, U2's awesome, Depeche is awesome (new album on April 21st). Oh, and I love my family, most of all. More than any of this stuff (just in case you were starting to get worried Jenny).  ;)

First Dentist Appointment

I took Michael and Wesley to the dentist for the very first time yesterday. Michael was terrified, and Wesley did great (see picture above.) It is so fun to see how their little personalties are turning out. Wesley has no fear and Michael is a little scaredy cat. lol. We went to Orem Pediatric Dentistry, which I totally recommend. They were awesome! The dentist and helper girls were soooo helpful and great with the boys. They even have a t.v. on the ceiling, murals of farm animals on the walls, tons of toys, and they get to pick out a prize at the end of their appointment. Michael of course picked out a car for both him and Wesley. Check out their website: http://www.orempediatricdentistry.com/

We just figured out that Justin only has 6 more classes after this semester to graduate! Yipee! The end is in sight! Spring of 2010 is looking better every day...
