What would Charles do?
Occasionally, when in a parenting or moral or social dilemna, I like to ask myself, What would Charles Ingalls do? He is the fellow on Little House on the Prairie. Sometimes I even ask myself, WHat would Caroline Ingalls do(that's his wife)? Gotta love it.

Superfantastic Summer!
Hi!!!!!!
First of all, an explanation: I have made an effort lately to simplify and prioritize every aspect of my life and so I chose to cut out most of my computer time, mostly blogging, and spend more time outside and more time teaching my kids one on one. I still check facebook nearly every day, especially since I have it on my iPhone, which makes it way easier. By the way, having three kids is awesome amazing fun and exhausting. So to summarize I took a little blogging hiatus but have decided to come back to it. I forgot that blogging is more than showing people pics of what we;ve been up to and ideas that I have, it's kind of like a little family diary. And I need to keep up with it, so here goes.
Our summer has been fun and super busy. Our neighborhood has been so friendly and nice so the kids have played with their friends almost every day versus last summer when we would maybe have a playdate once every other week. The kids are thriving and growing and are adorable as always.
Michelangelo is four and learning how to read. He begs to play with friends in the mornings, then when they have to go home for lunch he begs to play with them again. It's cute, he is quite the little social butterfy. He played on his very first sports team, a soccer team, and he was much more interested in the social aspect of the games than actually playing.
Wesley is three and potty training, slowly... He is a sweetheart. He is fascinated with the television set and loves to get into the dvd's. He is our little curious George, he loves to explore and get up onto things and into things. A few weeks ago we had a scare where he drank some hair developer and we had to take him to Primary Children's Hospital and it was pretty scary. But he is fine now. I think all those time outs are working, he is learning his limits little by little.
Francesca is our little beauty queen. She is all diva through and through. She loves attention, especially from her mama. She loves anything pink, in fact, she will get into the tupperware drawer and hand towel drawer and pick out only the pink items all on her own, it's hilarious. She has recently learned how to glare. At first it was funny but she should just give it up. But once she throws you that sweet smile you forget all about it.

Future Communicating Devices by Jennifer Trend
My ideas for phones of the future:
#1 Gigantic Zak Morris inspired phone, but with an iPhone display, in either pure gold, vintage floral, hippie rainbow sky, or zebra print
#2 About twice as big as a iPhone, but a little thicker and sturdier with gigantic buttons and an amazingly clear screen
#3 It will look like the handset of one those old phones from like the 1960's, but with buttons on the inside, in colors reminiscent of that era: teal, perinwinkle, canary, queen anne's lace
#4 A phone shaped as a cat, (you know you would want one)
#5 A phone that could double as a baby rattle
#6 a phone that could also be used as a digital picture frame but with an awesome chunky wooden frame that would still be cool but small enough to be sensible
#7 A communicating device inspired by Star Trek
#8 A communicating device inspired by the ones on Star Trek but have the appearance of a darling little flower pinned on your shirt, all you have to do to make a call is push the button on the front if you want to make a call, it will have voice recognition, same thing for answering a call.

Michelangelo these days...
You change your mind
Like a girl changes clothes
Yeah you, PMS
Like a dweeb
I would know
And you over think
Always speak
Crypticly
I should know
That you’re no good for me
Cause you’re hot then you’re cold
You’re yes then you’re no
You’re in then you’re out
You’re up then you’re down
You’re wrong when it’s right
It’s black and it’s white
We fight, we break up
We kiss, we make up
(You) You don’t really want to stay, no
(But you) But you don’t really want to go-o
You’re hot then you’re cold
You’re yes then you’re no
You’re in and you’re out
You’re up and you’re down
Down, down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down, down…
We used to be
Just like twins
So in sync
The same energy
Now’s a dead battery
Used to laugh bout nothing
Now your plain silly
I should know that
You’re gonna change someday
Cause you’re hot then you’re cold
You’re yes then you’re no
You’re in then you’re out
You’re up then you’re down
You’re wrong when it’s right
It’s black and it’s white

You’re up and you’re down.
Seriously though, he is one very emotional little boy! But I love him dearly.

TwiMANIA- Part 2
Justin's aunt Deanne set me and Erin up with tickets to see Eclipse on the night before it came out. I loved the movie. It was really really super good. Super lame that the one picture I have has Shrek in the back. Someone totally took the Edward standee that was in the lobby before the show. Sad day. Deanne made a bracelet exactly like the one Bella has in the movie. I got the biggest kick out of it. I wish I had a picture but you'll just have to trust me, it was exactly the same!!! Awesome!
Oh any I am totally planning a Twilight Movie Marathon for when Eclipse comes out on DVD. We will be watching all three movies, then playing Twilight themed games after. I may even have a Team Jacob vs. Team Edward mud fight or something just as fantastico.
