Miss Francy Makes Friends

It's crazy how different my kids are. Francesca, who seems to have taken on the nickname of "Francy", loves making friends. It's in her nature. First of all, she has built-in friends who happen to be her brothers. When they are at school she loves chasing Conrad around. When Conrad is napping she begs and begs me to play with a friend. She loves playing house, dress-up, my little pony, barbies, & dolls.
I think she is used to being surrounded by people, so that's where she is most comfortable.
Her BFF is definitly her grandma, my mom. He and my mom are so similar it's uncanny. From their petite size, to their feminine nature to their love of rolls and of playing in water, they are two peas in a pod.
She is a lot like a sparker. ;)
I wanted to add that she also adores Justin's mom as well.
I love this girlie girl of mine.
She makes me laugh and cry and smile all at the same time.

Francy's Rainbow Birthday Party

This little girl had a birthday.

Family members and friends came over to celebrate.

I made some rainbow brite treat bags.

Lots of delicious food was shared.

Francy's favorite babysitter even came.

We had fun in the newly remodeled family room.

She got lots of sweet adorable gifts.

Including five pairs of shoes.

Lilian helped with the hand printing.

Erin and Frank, the newlyweds came even though they were newly-wed. ;)

Me and my dad threw together this rainbow brite cake last second.

Here are Francy's handprints.

At the end of the day she was so tired she fell asleep right in her highchair. (lol!)

Mr. Furr Turns 30

Yep, my handsome hubby turned the big 3-0 in January. I threw him a surprise b-day party. It was fun. Sorry I didn't take a whole lot of pictures. In fact this picture isn't even from the party. Friends and family were very supportive.
In other news, we both decided recently to start our own independent businesses. Justin's is called Furr Real Computer Service and mine is called Fields of Gold Floral Design. We are super excited! More info on those coming up.

TwiMANIA- Part 1

I've been bitten. Oh, I know you know what I'm talkin' about.
Ever since a neighbor mom friend of mine let me borrow the triple combination of Stephanie Meyer's heartwrenching novels I was hooked. Then Breaking Dawn came out. I love the movies as well. Justin took me to both Twilight and New Moon soon after they came out. He is so sweet.
A few weeks ago one my awesome friends who is also sort of a Trekkie rented a 22 electronic recliner theater room and we watched New Moon. Then she made this whole Twilight Trivia game and it was all very cool. She even made Werewolf Cupcakes and Flesh Bite Cookies. It was all very posh. I took the oppurtunity to dress like Rosalee, and my sister in law was Alice. I always liked Rosalee.

From a Toddler to a Boy!

My firstborn Michelangelo has officially turned four! He has grown from a zygote to an embryo, from a fetus to an infant, and now from a toddler to a real live boy!
The last four years have really flown by. Michael has brought much joy and love to my heart. I am honoured to be his mother. It hasn't always been easy, from the sleepless nights, to the getting into all the food in the kitchen, to writing with permanent marker all over the walls, to making mess after mess, we still love him, now more than ever. He is and always has been very outgoing and friendly, he is quite the talker and loves to learn, he enjoys taking care of his brother and sister, and wants to be just like his dad. I pray every day I can teach him just the right things to him so that he will succeed independently on his own one day. As sad as that day will be, I will be such a proud mom.
Here are some pictures from his airplane-themed birthday parties. I threw him his first-ever friend party! It was just adorable! The kids played pin the tail on the donkey, duck duck goose, and we got a kick out of it. Justin actually stepped in as the party game initiator/coordinator and I stood back keeping things in order. Then we had an afternoon family party and was once again pleasantly suprised at all the family support we have. Thank you so much all! We love you!
