Christmas Break & New Years

This Christmas and holiday season has been one of my best ever. For the last 2 weeks I've had the opportunity to be off work since I work for the school district. Since I didn't have school classes either because of the break, I was able to spend a lot of time with family this Christmas-time and go to many family parties, on both sides. I had so much fun! I love family and love to spend time with them. We went to many parties on Jenny's family's side, and stayed at her parent's house for five days and four nights. Good times. My brother Brandon and his family came down from Roosevelt and we spent a lot of time with them. They were times I will never forget.

Here are some pictures of some of the fun times we've had over the last 2 weeks.
Here we were enjoying the snow. We were glad it was a snowy Christmas (even though I'm not really a fan of the cold) I like the snow.

Jenny's LaRocco family cousins had an "Ugly Sweater" competition. The kid in the back one first place with the blue sweater that lights up. He even had to plug himself in, it was hilarious.

Wesley was beat around this time of year because he had so much fun with cousins and presents. He fell asleep on his high chair one afternoon while eating lunch, it was so cute!

We had our annual Christmas Eve party at my Grandma and Grandpa Furr's house. Wesley got a Magna Doodle Jr. and Michael got a Nerf gun that he loves. It was a fun party, we also played holiday bingo and Jenny and I won a pair of car Rudolph antlers and nose.

This was Christmas morning at our home. The boys loved it and we were so blessed to be able to get them some fun presents (with a little help from Santa) ;) It's nice that they are still young enough to not care about how much money we spent on them (wasn't much).

We visited my parents house for a short while, and saw my brother David and his wife Kami there. They got us towels with our names sewn into them which Kami made! It was cool and mine was red and Jenny's was pink (our favorite colors). Very thoughtful gift. Jenny made all the girls in our family these nice aprons. She personally selected all the fabrics and thought about which girls would like each specific one. Very thoughtful gifts sweetie! (oh yeah, I helped her make part of them, weird I know). ;)

The day after Christmas we were up in Farmington and spent the previous night there and 3 more after that. We had so much fun with Jenny's family--they are wonderful people. It snowed the day after Christmas and we all went out and shoveled the driveway plus 2 non-member neighbors. It was fun to do that. Plus I got to try out a snowblower for my first time.

At Jenny's Wilson Christmas get-together, everyone did talents. Mark (Jenny's brother) and I have been practicing a lot of Coldplay music lately (he plays piano, I sing) and so we played two songs for the whole family, The Scientist and In My Place. It was fun and Mark's really good. He taught himself to play the piano and I hope he can teach me.

Over the break, Jenny's 2 uncles and aunts, Mark, Jenny's dad and mom, me, and a few other people I might've missed all got Blackberry phones. Best part was, they were free as upgrades. We spent New Years Eve at Jenny's Uncle Keith's house in Spanish Fork. They're an awesome family and we dinked around with our new awesome Blackberry toys for a while. I'm loving my new phone because I can use wifi at home on it and I can listen to music (up to a 16 GB microSD card can go in there for lots of music; but I ordered an 8GB off NewEgg.com for dirt cheap!) ;)

Here we were again at Keith's house. Good times:

My parents took us to Chuck 'A' Rama on New Years Day for a treat. We had lots of fun with the fam.

We had quite a full house for a while. Brandon's family was there (he has 4 kids), and Erin came over with her girl Ava and we all partied. It was loads of fun. Even my friend Grant came over with his Wii and we played some Mario Kart and Smash Brothers for a while.

Michael and Wesley just love olives! So we put them on our fingertips (I used to as a kid, who didn't???) and they just have so much fun with it.

Then Brandon and Candace and Jenny and I and our kids spontaneously decided to go to Macey's and get ice cream cones. It was so messy and so much fun!

Wesely thought his styrofoam cup was edible for a while there but he learned it wasn't. Michael decided to start playing with his ice cream cone.

Michael and Shawn had so much fun playing together. They both have little pilot coats, it's so cute.

This is my brother Brandon. He and I are pretty close I'd say. He's an awesome brother and I love spending time with him and his family. And our kids get to play together. We had such a great time hanging out with him and his family. Love ya bro!

I keep updated on your blog as well even if I don't comment every time. So you moved out of the 98th ward huh? Yea, we would have too if we were home. I loved that ward but you start to feel weird having two kids and still attending... LOL. Glad to see you look happy! PS... Love the aprons they look familiar :)

Bubs and Wubs are so cute. Your Christmas looks like it was fun. I saw the apron that Jenny made Corinne and I was very impressed for all of the work it would take to make every girl in the fam an apron. That's amazing.
