These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise...

The new Star Trek movie finally come out, and since me and Justin are Trekkies, we went to see the sneak peek the night before opening day. It was amazing! I loved it. It was even better than I expected. It was a perfect balance of adventure, action, romance, and drama, just like everything else in the Star Trek world. I can't wait to see it again. We definitly want to check it out in IMax. They are even making two sequels to it in the next few years. If you haven't seen it, go check it out.

Here we are in line to see the show. Yes, we brought Francesca at six days old. She did amazing. Hardly made a peep. And the crazy thing about it is after the show we spotted another tiny baby and I asked the parents how old he was and he was exactly six days old. too! Crazy awesome! Notice my tattoo above my forehead. It's a Chakotay tattoo, in honor of one of my favorite Star Trek characters.

This is Chakotay:

Here is Justin and Francesca and Justin's dad, Doug. The entire time we were waiting in line they discussed which Star Trek episodes and movies were their favorite and why. We went with our friends Grant, Kathy, and Emily. Fun fun fun!

Since I talked about Chakotay, I just have to mention some of my other favorite characters in the Star Trek universe.

This is Deanna Troi. She was in TNG. She is a Betazoid, meaning she can read minds. It's awesome. And this is Charles "Tripp" Tucker from Enterprise. I love his western accent and human-like and honest characteristics. He reminds me a lot of Justin. No wonder I like him. lol Well, Star Trek is the best and will be the best, so go watch it. Live long and prosper. :)

We just saw that movie last night when we went on a date! It was pretty good, but I didn't follow the original Star Trek well enough to get some of it. I'm a Next Generation fan myself. ( :
Wow! I can't believe you brought the baby! I can't even sit right for a month after having a baby, so I don't go anywhere. I'm glad you were able to get out.
