Spring has Sprung

Yay!

The fact that it might be any minute now that Wesley and Michael will not be my only kids has hit me hard this past week. So I have tried to take advantage of the time and spend as much quality time with them as possible.

Here is my hot stuff husband on his scooter, the delta flyer. Yay for saving on gas and having a sweet fun ride. And also yay for him being done with all his finals. Poo for him having to start summer semester on wednesday.

Here is one of the painting projects I have been working on. I painted this table and chairs set sky blue/aqua and cardinal red and mod podged those adorable vintage retro papers on the top.
The boys love it.

And here the cuties are now enjoying the sunshiney days we have been getting. Yay!

Michael was trying to help Justin with the yard work. I think he knows he's going to be a big brother to a little sister soon and is trying to be an extra good helper.

And there's my hottie now taking care of the yard. It looks great honey bunches. Thank you.

One of my other projects was getting the babies room all ready. I painted and organized and am so excited to show her! Come already, Francy!

She is going to be one loved little princess.

Friends Forever

Last weekend me and some friends from high school got together in Salt Lake City for some much needed girl time. It had been almost 5 years since we had all been together but after a few minutes it felt just like old times. It was fabulous! And I got the most adorable zebra print dress for the baby that I have ever seen. It was fun to see everybody and catch up on their lives. Thanks for the good time, girls! You rock!

Baby Stella, Easter, Dino Museum

Michelangelo and Wesley got a new cousin recently, her name is Stella Lillie. My sister-in-law Erin welcomed her into the world just a few days before Easter. She is such a tiny little beautiful little babe! I am so excited to get to know her better.

Justin is so sweet with her! I just love it!

Here is Justin teaching the boys how to be gentle with little babies. They got a little preview of what it might be like to have a new baby in our home. Wesley just kept wanting to sit by her and Michael kept saying "Ohhhhhhhh." It was funny. Erin is an awesome mom! Look how great she looks less than a week after giving birth. Amazing!

And here is baby Stella at just a week old. I can't believe how much they can change and grow in so little time.

Here we are celebrating Easter. We attended the ward Easter Party and Egg Hunt and the boys loved it.

Wesley was satisfied in finding one egg after he discovered the candy inside.

Michael, on the other hand wanted as many as he could get his little toddler hands on. And I can't leave out showcasing our yearly tradition of dying hard boiled eggs. I look forward to it every year. One of these years I will get Justin loving it, too.

We also had the chance to go to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point with my playgroup. They have a water/sand activity table that they boys just loved. Michael also discovered a computer to play dinosaur games on. He didn't really know what he was doing, I think he just wanted to look like papa.
And last but not least yes I am still pregnant. My sweet baby girl is still cookin'. I have been working on some last minute projects before the baby comes and that has been a lot of fun. I am a little nervous to be taking care of three little ones three and under at age 23 but am excited as well.

Jenny's Thankful Post

The last few weeks have been pretty crazy busy. We found out Michelangelo had E Coli which included taking him in to the hospital to have his blood drawn every other day for a while, an emergency trip to Primary Children's Hospital, and one scared little 3 year old. After watching the last session of general conference, which was wonderful by the way, Justin and his friend Matt gave Michael a preisthood blessing. Up until then the blood tests just kept getting worse. So I took him in to get his blood drawn the next day, and the results were wonderful. If the results would have gone down again, my poor little son would have had a blood transfusion, which would have entailed at least one overnight in the hospital. I have a true testimony of the real power of the preisthood and am so grateful for my husband, Justin for being worthy to carry it. I also want to thank my dad for meeting me at the hospital when Justin couldn't be there.

The next people I would like to thank are everyone who came and helped out with my baby showers. They were amazing, I felt so humbled to have so many people come and support me and my future daughter. A special thanks to my mom for the hours she spent making the blankets and burp cloths, all the other darling presents, and helping plan and attending both showers. My sister Lisa made adorable invitations for my family shower and made a gorgeous blanket and burp cloth set and gave me so many other nice things. Also Liz, Erin, and Lilian all helped with my Orem shower and it turned out amazing. I am so blessed to be having another little baby, especially a girl, and am grateful to everyone that came to my showers. All the presents were sooooooo adorable! I couldn't ask for better friends and family support. Thank you all!!!!!!

Snake Dilemna

In the summer of 2006 I was taking out the garbage and I stepped on a snake in our backyard. I didn't go back out there for weeks. I don't really like snakes. Ever since then we have seen tons of snakes. I told our landlords and they said snakes are good for the garden and the yard and our neighbor said the same thing. I just think it's scary to have them so close and see them so often especially when bringing kids out there. Justin named one that lives under our shed Henry the snake, and he and the boys watch it and bug it every once in a while. Henry the snake is about 18 inches long and most likely a garter snake so pretty much harmless, or so they say. My mother was here a few days ago and saw Henry, she doesn't like it either so she said she would tell my dad to take care of it. I said well maybe, I didn't really consider killing it. I told Justin and he said he could kill it too, but maybe we shouldn't. So my parents came over today and my mom told my dad to take care of it, and he wouldn't. He said it hasn't really done any harm, and it keeps the mice away, so no need to kill it. Besides, more snakes will come. My mom said think of the children. I have been thinking about it and maybe we should let poor Henry live. It's just too bad he has to live so close. I have cut back on my gardening and yard work tons because he just creeps me out. I just hope when we buy a house of our own we won't have so many snakes live so close. What do you think? Should Mr. Henry the snake live or die?
